Inspired by the wonderfully articulate Chick Norris, I've decided to make my own list of things I want to do... eventually.
Don’t like the Like button?
If you're like me and you don't like the new way Facebook is trying to take over the internet, here's a quick fix to make sure (until they change the address) they won't follow you around.
Find your Hosts File
- In windows, it's c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
- on a Mac, it's /private/etc/hosts
Add this line:
127.0.0.1 connect.facebook.net
Save it, and then just to be safe, clear your browser cache to ensure the javascript file isn't being saved. From now on you shouldn't see a 'like' button anywhere, or if you do, it shouldn't work and shouldn't be able to track you.
To be even more safe, get in the habit of logging out of Facebook whenever you visit it, INCLUDING ON YOUR PHONE.

Gmail Advanced – Multiple inboxes and work/home account separation

Just a quick one from me today, again spurred on from people asking me how they can get Gmail to show 3 'inboxes' each with starred mail from a different account, all on the one page.
Drawing with Google Docs
Google Docs has just released a new "Drawing" item that you can use to create flowcharts and diagrams or just doodle with the curvey line tool to draw what you like. I'll even give the Docs Drawing feature a go on an iPad and post some pics as soon as I can.
Mana Bar + Raskulls
Last week I finally had a chance to check out the new gaming bar in Brisbane; The Mana Bar. The place is brilliant, and probably the most at home I've felt in a club in a really long time, if ever. You can probably expect a few future posts about my experiences there, and maybe a more detailed review soon.
In the meantime though, I want to talk about Raskulls!
Geek & Nerd T-Shirts!

People often ask me where I get my shirts, since I'm almost always wearing something aimed at geeks, nerds or gamers to cover my torso. Usually I don't remember because I get them from all over the place, including eBay sometimes, but the best stores can sometimes be hard to find as it's a pretty big market on the internet. So here's a list of my favourites, please leave a comment if you want your store listed and I'll check it out first (no cafepress / spreadshirt shops please, just propper stores). If I like it, I'll add it to the list and probably buy something at the same time
